The Cambridge Bar is known for its gourmet homemade burgers, and we take pride in our menu. Monthly specials allow us to do something different with this humble staple.
Choose your beef, chicken, buffalo or bean patty and then opt for one of a selection of toppings; perhaps a classic like the MOS (mushrooms, onions and Swiss cheese) or a new favourite like the Pig in a Poke (pulled pork, BBQ sauce, cole slaw). Bun or no bun, one patty or three, you can have your burger just the way you like it. Add a side of chips, onion rings or cole slaw to complete your meal.
We love to spice things up, and have a selection of hot sauces ranging from the very mild to the insanely hot. Each of them has been selected not only for their heat, but for their flavour.
In addition to burgers, we also offer hearty portions of nachos and a Philly cheese steak. Our desserts are decadent treats on their own, or the perfect end to a meal.
More and more, people care about food quality and provenance, and we’re no different. Where possible, we buy locally and make things in-house. We use 100% Scottish beef which is sourced exclusively through J Gilmour, as is our chicken and seasonal pork & lamb. Our buffalo comes straight from Puddledub Farm, in Fife. Fresh fruit & veg is delivered by Mark Murphy throughout the week. Our buns & rolls are freshly baked and delivered daily by Breadwinner. Like our bean burgers, our sauces are made in-house.
